Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible, organized, and proactive Office Administrator to support our day-to-day office operations along with IT and employee support. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, learning new things, and growing in a professional IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day office administration and coordination

• Provide support for computers, printers and hardware

• Manage office supplies, assets, bills, vendors, and service/maintenance renewals

• Support employee onboarding and computer/system setup

• Maintain office and IT-related records and inventory

• Coordinate routine administrative and operational requirements

About the role

Vardaam builds web and mobile software for clients in India and North America, and runs its own products. Our technology team is 20+ people working in Laravel, WordPress, Node, React and Flutter on AWS and GCP.

We need one leader who owns what this team commits and what it ships. You will run delivery, quality, people and client confidence, and report directly to the founder. The job is about 80% leadership and 20% hands-on review.

What you will own

• Delivery: estimates, sprint and release cadence, change requests, and on-time delivery across all client and product work.

• Reporting: a weekly, evidence-based status of every project to the founder. Bad news is raised within 24 hours.

• Clients: the main point of contact and escalation for clients in India, the US and Canada.

• People: goals, reviews, coaching, hiring and retention for leads, project managers and developers.

• Engineering quality: code review standards, QA gates, a clear definition of done, and reviews after every production incident.

• Cloud and DevOps: environments, CI/CD, backups, uptime and cloud cost.

• Product: roadmap and release planning for Vardaam's own products.

• Commercials: pre-sales estimates and tracking of project profitability.

What we are looking for

• 7+ years in software delivery, including 5+ years running several teams or projects at once in an IT services or agency setting.

• An earlier hands-on development career in web stacks such as PHP/Laravel, WordPress or JavaScript frameworks. You can still review an architecture, an estimate or a pull request.

• Direct experience managing US or Canadian clients, including escalations. Excellent written and spoken English.

• A record of bringing delivery discipline to a team that lacked it: estimation, sprint cadence, QA gates, release management.

• Working knowledge of AWS or GCP deployments, CI/CD and production incident handling.

• Comfortable working from our Vadodara office, with evening overlap for US clients a few days a week.

Must have

• 7+ years' experience, starting as a web developer and now leading delivery.

• Has run 20 to 50 people across several client projects at an IT services firm or digital agency.

• Has handled US or Canadian clients directly, including escalations.

• Fluent, professional English in writing and on calls.
